Our BIG Three Year Old!!

These pictures were all mostly around Dax's 3rd birthday, which was in February, these were taken in March.

So proud to show off his dragon :)
Our first trip to the lego store -I helped him build this, but since then he has become an amazing lego builder. Its the one thing that will just keep him entertained (and still) for long periods of time.

Anyone that knows Dax knows that this is more like it... Always on the move!!
Ya, after discovering the exhaust pipe on Daddy's truck.
I'll give this kiddo some credit though -he is not my mess-maker kid. He's 3 1/2 and could very well get into pens, pencils, crayons, markers and have colored on the wall, floors and he has done it with a crayon only once (Sammy, on the other hand...). He likes it when I wipe his hands after eating (he is still yet to master using a spoon or fork every time, lol -hands make good shovels I guess ;) we're working on that) Never spills, drips and likes to be clean. Phew!! (He is like his Daddy, so no surprise there).
This was back in March, and too cute not to share. We had a dry cleaning, triangular card board piece from Shawn's dry cleaning. He immediately said "wings", and we cut some holes, added some ribbon to tie it on, and suddenly he became buzz lightyear, "Infini beyon," in his words. (Since this was 6 months ago he can now say "To Infinity and Beyond, lol").

I have to say I am LOVING the Three year old thing. He was such a hard two year old (couldn't go really anywhere) that it all seems easier now (still not easy, just better). He now lets us cuddle and hug him whenever. He gives kisses and hugs all the time, he says I love you on his own, and is a pretty good protective big brother and a good helper.
And he is still as big as ever. Just so tall and big, wearing 5 year old size clothing, but still acting like... a three year old :).

(Oh, did I mention he is potty trained???!! Ya, one kid in diapers is kinda nice -2 years of changing two kids diapers all day long is OVER!!)

We love our Daxxy!!
