Our Samantha!!

These pics were taken mostly around March, so Sammy has grown up a lot since, but I still have to share these :)

A jammie day. We practically lived outside this time of year. It was so nice!!
Such a girlie-girl! She put her little purple lap top in her Dora back pack (and it all just happened to match her outfit) and just plopped on the porch. My idea of a workspace! (This was the neighborhood kitty that we took care of for a while, until it started leaving me "gifts" -birds, lizards, rodents... not fun to clean up). It was a pretty kitty, who we named "kitty" (the kids were really into kitty's at the time, so it needing someone to feed it and give it a bed -outside only- seemed perfect, at the time. I hate to admit that I am not a cat person and kids have taken over any need for a pet these days, lol).

Sammy turned 2 in July, but there is so much to share about her! I'll keep updating the blog, and keep it up to date!!

-As far as her stats, she's right in the middle. Pretty much 50%-ile for everything, height & weight. She is communicating pretty good, and is understanding time outs, and catches on pretty quick. She loves, LOVES her brother, and always has to know where he is. She can hold her own with him, and her time-outs are primarily for hitting her brother (usually unprovoked). They love to tickle each other and laugh.

-She is a good eater, but still picky and there is NO way to convince her otherwise (or sneak a taste in her mouth). Thank goodness she'll eat healthy food, but sadly she did learn how to say "french fries" (does that tell you a little about their frequency? which we are now backing off of, other than occasionally).

-She LOVES her grandparents and knows how to work her cuteness. She cuddles up on their laps and gives lots of cute faces and just stays put. She still even convinces me with her cuteness to carry her down the stairs (sometimes -its because she carries like 5 blankets with her each time! lol).

-She is SO proud that about one month ago (in August), she learned to JUMP! She was trying and trying all summer, so it is adorable and a big milestone for a two year old :)

Oh, little Sam-Sam, the sweetest, cutest, little mess-maker you ever did see. She likes to be by her Mama, and her favorite line is "Hold you?" when she wants to be held.
