June FUN!! AZ, UT, CA

June was such a fun month!! We got to enjoy the nice weather and swimming here, sort of, lol. It started to get hot, which is why it was so nice to get to go to Utah and California briefly.

Here we are going to see Kung Fu Panda 2. Dax was pretty excited, especially because he went through a bit of a phase where he was terrified of movie theaters, so he was so proud to have overcome his fear!

And my lego building machine. I'm pretty proud, to say the least. He's not even 3 1/2 years old when this was taken.

And this was the month that Dax got officially potty trained (thanks to help from Sheridan while I was off doing Ragnar!). He was that kid we knew we had to wait until he was ready because once he was ready I knew he wouldn't have any accidents, and only the first week after he had 2 and hasn't had any since, even his pull ups at night are dry each morning.

And swimming lessons. First year of lessons through the Gilbert Recreation, and Dax, who can be fearful, did great! Sammy also had her first lessons ever and did really well (aside from being stubborn and refusing to put her face in, unless she was jumping in).

Then we got to go to Cali and enjoy the beach! It was just me and the kids and it was the first time I could relax a little bit at the beach. Dax played in the waves without hesitation, and Sammy wasn't afraid of sand anymore, lol.

We even got to see this just a few yards away. In all the years we've gone there, never once has this happened. Even the locals said this never happens. Pretty cool! So many people thought it was injured or dying (I think they're just lazy and it was enjoying the warmth).

I think I like the beach, with kids, now. I can't wait until next time!!!
