October -Legoland!!!

We got to go on a family vacation (for Shawn and I, a trip, lol) to California in October.

Here we are at the house, cruisin'
And here are our friends we made at the beach. It was like something right out of a movie (or a dream, lol). This guy playing the ucalaly and singing, with his Mom who had french accent. They were so sweet and even helped me walk the kids back up the hill. Sammy became instant friends with them, regardless of the shy phase she was going through.

This was our big trip to LEGOLAND!!! This is totally Dax's world. He has been really into lego's for the past year. Even though he gets a little overwhelmed in theme parks (all the people, the loud music, etc.), we knew he would love it!
He enjoyed seeing all the things made out of legos, riding the train, playing, squirting water, and at the end getting to race his lego car creation! Sammy liked the part where she got to dance, play on the playground, and ride the train. She mostly got to chill out in the stroller.
I think we'll go back when Dax is 7 or 8 because then he can go on rides and have much more fun!

Squirting water.
Sammy dancing.

This car was pretty cool.
"Darth Gater", as Dax says it.
He was really into Halloween this year!

Hero Factory.
And Dax getting to build his race car. Not to brag, but it was a matter of fact: He won every race, that I saw, even against older children. He has always been really good at symmetry and balance (physics I guess). He didn't care about winning, of course. He just liked racing it! It was the best way to end a fun day!!

I am so happy you found my post on barometric pressure useful. I definitely agree with what you said and no doubt, it feels shitty either way huh! Take care <3
